Prof. dr. Kay W. Axhausen

Prof. dr. Kay W. Axhausen (born 8 October 1958) is Full Professor of transportation planning at ETH Zurich, where he leads the Institute for Transport Planning and Systems (IVT). He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as a PhD in civil engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Professor Axhausen is known for writing hundreds of papers on the topic of transport planning and travel behaviour analysis.

As BIVEC-GIBET Transport Research Chair, he will give a series of three lectures (dates to be communicated, but one of the lectures will take place during the BIVEC-GIBET transport research days).
